Street Fighter vending machine bootlegs

Dhalsim, Blanca, Chun-Li, Ken
What: Mini figures based on characters from the "Street Fighter" series of video games. These toys use the same sculpts as Street Fighter mini figures released earlier in Japan, which you can see and read about at MinifiguresXD. But while the original figures came in solid colors, these U.S. vending machine bootlegs were made in a light flesh color soft plastic, and with one painted color applied to each specific character (in addition to a bit of black paint on their eyes and eyebrows).

When: I'd guess I got these in the late 1990s. According to the post linked above, the original Japanese versions of the figures were released in the early '90s.

Where: Sold in toy vending machines

Who: N/A
